I qualified as a veterinarian a decade ago, and my career has taken me on quite an adventure. I've had the opportunity to practice in Zimbabwe, Mauritius, England, and now, finally Canada, where I've always dreamed of working. Along the way, I've experienced just about every aspect of veterinary medicine, from 24-hour emergency hospitals and shelter medicine to general practice. I've loved the variety each type has brought.
My favourite areas of practice are soft tissue surgery and diagnostic imaging, especially radiology and ultrasound. I am also a passionate advocate for wildlife conservation and love seeing the difference veterinary medicine can make for animals of all kinds.
When I'm not at the clinic, you'll usually find me exploring hiking trails, playing guitar, or behind the lens of a camera, trying to capture the perfect shot. If there's a great view at the end of the trail, even better!
