I've always loved animals. Growing up, I was surrounded by pets, not just at home, but throughout my extended family. I come from a family of healthcare professionals, so caring for others has always been an important part of my life. Choosing veterinary medicine allowed me to combine my passion for animals with my interest in healthcare, and I feel incredibly fortunate to do work that makes a difference for both pets and the people who love them.
What I enjoy most about veterinary medicine is helping animals live healthier, happier lives while building relationships with their families. Every day brings something new to learn, and I love that there are always opportunities to grow and expand my knowledge.
One of my favourite things about working at Cambrian is the people. I became fast friends with my coworkers, and I love being part of such a supportive team. We learn from one another every day, which helps us all provide the best possible care for our patients.
When I'm not at the clinic, you can usually find me reading, playing baseball, camping, fishing, or convincing my family and friends to go for ice cream. At home, I'm kept entertained by two wonderful dogs: Stitch, my husky mix with plenty of attitude, and Nugget, the only small-breed dog to ever steal my heart!
