Shanon Chase

Practice Manager / Registered Veterinary Technician
My family always had pets while I was growing up. When I was a teenager, one of our family cats developed kidney disease. It became my job to administer her medications and routinely bring her to the vet clinic. The experience opened my eyes to veterinary medicine as a career. I joined Cambrian Animal Hospital shortly after Dr. Uy took over the practice. I was working here initially as a veterinary assistant, but I decided to continue my education. I was hired as the hospital’s registered veterinary technician immediately after graduation from Seneca College’s Veterinary Technician program. Cambrian Animal Hospital has a very small staff and I love how well we work together as a team. The thing that I love most about my job is meeting our patients as puppies and kittens and watching them grow and mature over the years. Getting to know their human family members is an added bonus! Our clients know that I love to change the colour of my hair, but they may not know that I love tattoos too. If you have a cool tattoo, I would love to see it!
